Satan under your feet

“The God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly.”
— Romans 16:20

Our Lord Jesus Christ is the God of peace. From the very beginning, when Adam sinned, God made a declaration to the serpent:
“I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; it shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.” (Genesis 3:15)

God also promised that His people will tread upon lions and serpents. In today’s verse, He assures us that He will crush Satan under our feet.

God is mighty and powerful. He gives His strength to His people so that they can destroy the works of Satan—false teachings, deceit, ungodly customs, and deceptive practices. Those who walk in the truth and obey God wholeheartedly will expose and overcome such evil works.

God desires to do these mighty things through you, the one who receives His Word. Therefore, live a life that is holy, obedient, and fully surrendered to Him. As you do so, you will surely gain victory over the powers of Satan.

May the Lord help you and strengthen you to walk in victory. Amen.
