SERVE THE LORD AND OBEY

“We will serve the Lord our God and obey His voice.”
— Joshua 24:22

The Almighty God desires this from His people — that they should listen to His voice and serve Him alone.

Even in the days of Moses, at Mount Sinai, the Israelites spoke similar words, promising to follow the Lord. And here again, before Joshua, they are saying the same thing.

But the Christian life is not merely about words — it is a life to be lived and practiced.
In those days, the Israelites spoke with their lips, but their hearts were far away. Sadly, even today, many are in the same condition.

Only when the words we speak are truly fulfilled through our actions and lives, we will experience God’s blessings and grace.

When your lips and life are united in obedience, people around you will see that God is truly with you and will say, “We have heard that God is with you; we will go with you.”
